1918 - 1945.

The Division was born by the end of WWI. It was still in training when the war was over. The Division is disbanded in December 1918. But, during the interwar years, the Division was kept in the Reserve Army based in Oklahoma City. The headquarters of the time were in OKC and some units were in towns of Oklahoma and Kansas. The letters OK of the badge stand for Oklahoma and Kansas, the two states where the Division was set in.

1942 - 1945.

The Division gets its new badge as soon as in 1942 in Camp Swift. It is made of a an Arabic 9 and a Roman five. Notice the absence of white outline around the red 9. This is one of the very first badges created and therefore it is very hard to find.

1942 - 1945.

This badge still does not have the white outline. It is the only one that shows a V which is not perfectly entwined with the 9

1942 - 1945.

The white outline is present. A green border is also added. This is the model that was used the most during the Liberation of France in 1944..

Since 1945.

The white outline is stuill present. The green border has vanished. Instead, you can see a blue one. The production of that badge started after the war. Those badges are still used for the Ceremony outfits.

Today.

The 95th IDUS is still active today. As each and every modern US Army Unit it has a badge in green and black. It is used on the combat outfit today.
